As the European power market is moving towards a green, integrated, and harmonized future, a new model for balancing the Nordic power system is called for. To achieve this, the Nordic TSOs have established the Nordic Balancing Model (NBM) cooperation. This involves the introduction of new system services to provide the needed automation and digital support in the balancing process. As a Balancing Service Provider, Statkraft will develop new solutions in the interface between IT and business. In this context, we need to strengthen the team that will work with test environments and test plans for these solutions.

Description of the Service
In the concept- and planning phase the test manager will work together with the project manager in Statkraft to map the need for extending existing test environments, and in collaboration with the rest of the project's technical team - design and plan the building of these environments. The work will also involve following up on the build process. The assignment will take place from October – December and involve at least 50% allocated time.

Competency and capabilities
Key Competencies:

• 5 years experience with test management and;
  • (minimum) 2 years on technical test management of non-functional tests such as:
    • Security
    • Access
    • Stability
    • Failover solutions
    • Performance tests
    • Stress tests
  • (minimum) 1 year of experience in test automation.
• Very good technical insight and use of test automation tools
• Very good understanding of application- and infrastructure security
• Experience with agile methods, preferably certified
• Very good knowledge of test methodologies and tools and can document the experience with establishing test strategies in previous customer assignments
• Knowledge of power markets in the Nordics
• Experience from PEN testing is a benefit

The consultant shall have the following capabilities:

• Fluent in Norwegian and English, written and oral
• Recognize and appreciate the value of good documentation
• Good communication and cooperative skills in team settings.

Duration: At least 50% FTE to the end of 2022. Must be available for option to extend to 100% from 01.01.23 until 30.09.23.
